My Story

Hi there! I'm Laura, the owner and operator of Woodland Tails. I've been working with animals for over 11 years now, and I've been a professional groomer for the past 7. I've always had a deep love for animals, and I'm so grateful to have found a career where I can combine my passion with my skills.

I started my grooming journey with a corporate training program. There, I learned the ropes and honed my craft. In 2018, I took a big step and decided to lead a franchise-owned grooming salon. It was a challenging but rewarding experience. I'm proud to say that I quickly built a reputation for providing excellent grooming services. In fact, in 2020, I was honored to receive the "Talk of the Town Best Grooming" award.

After a short break in 2021, I couldn't resist the pull of grooming. I decided to open my own salon, Woodland Tails. Here, I'm able to provide the kind of personalized care and attention that I believe every pet deserves. I'm committed to making your furry friend's grooming experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
